Information system in Supermarket

The Meet your Food Integrated Information System provides a comprehensive solution to the overload of information found in supermarkets. Using a combination of interface displays the customer can access more transparent information at locations most convenient to them. Supermarkets can choose to have any combination of the six components as they are all designed to work both individually and as a part of an integrated system.
Using the meet your food system customers have access to reliable information before, during, and after shopping. All user types are accounted for within the system. For the five-minute shoppers „the hub“ answers questions at a number of stationary locations throughout the supermarket, shoppers spending longer in the supermarket can access their information through the „trolley display“, and for the gadget savvy users there is access to the mobile app. Keeping track of healthy choices is not only essential during shopping but also at home where the food is being consumed. Hence there is the option of both an analog health monitor on the receipt and the website which provides the customer with all the relevant information in the comfort and privacy of their own home. As with any technology leap there is also the necessity for human interaction and assistance, all of which is offered through a personalised „information vendor“.
